“Cute and Cosy”
Vanilla House is a travelers dream, the beds are comfortable, the rooms well appointed the staff relaxed and helpful. Great Showers are to be had. The facility is nestled at the start of the national forest and great restaurants are within walking distance when you are not eating at the local Vanilla Bean. It has a pool which is not naturally fed and cleaned without the use of toxic chemicals. Great Value for money. Stayed February 2016, traveled on business.

“Good budget B&B. Nice decor.”
We stayed for two nights around Christmas time. I like the decor in the room. It’s like a little studio – with a small kitchenette. Breakfast was served in the courtyard. They gave us little Christmas ginger man on Christmas day. I love their homemade granola! As others have mentioned – lots of frogs, chickens and birds. but we were fine with that. Good location with lots of restaurants within a short drive. There’s a cafe that serve lunch by the B&B. Wifi was slow at times…However, I would recommend this place. Stayed December 2015, traveled as a couple.

“Comfortable Clean”
Friendly and helpful staff rooms compact and comfortable gardens, outside rooms are beautiful. 2 very convenient Resturants, 1 Chinese and 1 Frenchie bar/Resto, staff at Frenchie friendly food great . Worth the visit if in the area. Stayed June 2015, traveled with friends

Stupendo !
L’impressione iniziale era stata un po’ negativa, forse perché siamo arrivati tardi, quasi buio e ristorante chiuso. Ma ci siamo subito ricreduti: staff gentilissimo, camere stupende, nuove e pulite, colazione fantastica. DAVVERO OTTIMO!!

Une très bonne adresse !
Accueil excellent et chaleureux ,notre chambre était spacieuse , très propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût !! §En fait , c’était plutôt un studio puisqu’il était équipé d’un petit coin cuisine. Les petits déjeunes sont gargantuesques et très bons ! Nous avons eut droit à de très bons conseils concernant les visites à faire dans le sud ouest de l’ile ( Visite de l’ïle au bénitier , Chamarel , Grand Bassin ) .

A super break !
We went to Vanilla House last Week end, and we went for a beautiful trek in the national park. We walked about 32km to reach CHAZAL and had a super lunch! We loved it it was amazing, super views, great forest, and many surprising landscaping…

The apartments were tastefully decorated and a good size. With the kitchen facilities, it would be good to offer a hot plate and a communal bbq outside as we don’t like cooking with a microwave.

The room was large, gorgeous bathroom with huge beds and very nicely decorated. They also had a small kitchenette in the room. The staff were very helpful and the little garden was beautiful. The breakfast was very good and I loved the book exchange. Vanilla house is very close to everything…by car, like the coloured earths.

El descanso y la tranquilidad están garantizados. El personal es muy amable y atento. Los bungalows son realmente increíbles, decorados con mucho gusto, y muy nuevos. El jardín de los bungalows es precioso. El desayuno perfecto, servido o en el jardín principal o en la terraza del bungalow. La ubicación. No es mala, pero sólo es perfecta para visitar la zona sur de la isla y teniendo coche de alquiler. Si lo que se busca es tener la playa para ir caminando, este no es un lugar ideal. Está muy cerca de parques naturales, y cerca de la tierra de los siete colores. También está relativamente cerca de la zona Le Morne (playas preciosas) y muy muy cerca de Flic en Flac. Pero esto es posible teniendo coche.

The Studio we stayed in was large,with a gorgeous bathrooms with huge bed and very nicely decorated and the little garden out the front of our studio was cute. Although my partner had to go and sit near to the cafe to get wi-fi connection as could not get very good signal in our room. But apart form that the staff were very helpful, especially the lovely girl that served us out amazing breakfast . The location of Vanilla house is in grand Riviera noire area in Mauritius, and is very close to everything…by car like the colored earths and a really good kite surfing beach!
